I got a melon this week that looked like a cantelope on the outside, but the flesh is green to white. Last week, I had one and I thought it must not have been ripe yet (looking for pinkish cantelope insides and it didn’t smell ripe yet), so I waited. BAD move! It started to mold, so I had to add it to the compost. 😦
It was sweeter than cantelope and the flavor was less strong. The kids and I ate it all for breakfast. Look at that juice!
